MetroLagoons is hiring for the 2026 Spring and Summer Seasons!

This is a part-time position that may require mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

JOB SUMMARY:

An experienced bartender with management experience will effectively supervise and manage bar operations while delivering memorable hospitality to our guests and residents. This person will develop a team of bartenders that provides great hospitality, while controlling beverage costs, production, labor and managing beverage quality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Staff development, training, ongoing feedback and coaching with regard to the business performance expectations
• Ability to lead a team; promote and ensure great hospitality
• Manage bar operations during scheduled shifts that include daily decision-making, staff support, guest interaction, scheduling, planning while upholding standards, product quality, and cleanliness
• Oversee daily bar operations and systems, promptly addressing any issues 
• Ensure beverage quality by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, storage, and sanitation of food products
• Manage inventory efficiently, accurately, and in a cost-effective manner
• Demonstrate responsibility for purchasing, receiving, and storing beverage products, inspection of local suppliers, use of correct products and proper par levels to minimize beverage waste and optimize total beverage cost
• Understand all bar equipment operations and preventive maintenance
• Ensure that the restaurant and staff are set up for an outstanding shift, from product, to equipment, and ambiance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• HS Diploma or equivalent experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age 
• Minimum 2 years of full-service bartending experience
• Bar management experience
• Ability to communicate clearly with guests, managers and team members
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Experience using Focus or similar POS system
• Energetic, enthusiastic, and reliable
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be available to work mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends. (Flexible schedule hours will vary)
• Ability to work outside in all-weather elements; heat, cold, rain, wind
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
